Blockchain Bootcamp January ’17

Blockchain applications research team ReCon (recon.site) organizes the first blockchain developers bootcamp in Helsinki in late January ’17.

The four-day intensive course (8-9 h/day) gives the students all the necessary skills to build their own application that utilizes multiple smart contracts. The main instructor for the course is Elias Haase from B9lab, a company specializing on blockchain and decentralized applications. The contents of the boot camp cover approximately 80 percent of B9lab’s nine-week online course. A certificate is awarded for the satisfactory completion of the boot camp.

The course fee will be approximately 900 euros per participant, if all the places can be filled (maximum 50 participants). A limited number of places will be available for a reduced fee in exchange for work contribution in the ReCon project. All applicants are expected to have programming experience. The course will be taught in English. Exact location will be confirmed later.

Minimum requirements:
-Basic object-oriented programming experience
-Basic understanding of Javascript or similar language
Recommended experience:
-1 year of active development experience with an object-oriented programming language
-Experience with JavaScript, git and Linux
